1. Search for the Insulin.
  2. If the Insulin name is not found, please add it as a Custom Medication
  3. Click the Sliding Scale check-box

  1. Less Than will auto hold the insulin and will display the instructions message
  2. Copy the sliding scale order and enter the correct Units to each line
  3. Fill out each Instructions

  1. Select the Frequency and the appropriate Times.
  2. Edit the Instructions to match the order and add a Reason.

  1. Check off if the order is delegated and add the glucose # to hold the insulin if it falls under or over a certain number.
  2. Save the medication and head straight to Med Pass.
