The recent deployment of Synkwise 3.7 has a built-in Licensor (Surveyor) role. This is a limited role with predefined permissions that can be used by state licensors, surveyors, or inspectors. Please note that you as the Provider / Administrator will need to give the respective access to the requesting party. There are two different methods to achieve this.


Option A:
Provide access to Licensor / Surveyor with login credentials by creating your own staff account for them.

  1. Use an email address belonging to you. Please note you can quickly and easily create a an email for free with Gmail. 
  2. Create a staff account with the specific email you created.
  3. Assign the Licensor Role
  4. Make sure to confirm the account.
  5. When the licensor arrives you’ll just provide the login & password for them.
  6. Please make sure to inactivate their accounts once the inspection is completed.

Option B: Licensor / Surveyor user their own email address to access account *This is possible only if the licensor/surveyor will be able to access their email while on the premise. Default to option A if this is not possible.

  1. Create Staff Account
  2. Use the email provided
  3. Create the password (DON’T FORGET THIS)
  4. Select LICENSOR ROLE*The licensor will need to access their email to confirm the invite just like a standard staff member. Once it’s confirmed, they will be able to sign in with their email and the password you created for them.
  5. Please make sure to inactivate their accounts once the inspection is completed.
